Due to ongoing expansion we are often looking for experienced staff as well as those simply keen to enter the industry. Knowledge of the oil and gas sector is a bonus but not a necessity . What is required is enthusiasm, commitment, an eye for detail, a practical approach and a science background of at least degree level.

Our team members are split across two offices at opposite ends of the UK. We have headquarters and a laboratory facility in the vibrant city of Aberdeen - Europe’s Oil Capital – plus an additional laboratory and admin support services in Wareham – gateway to England’s Jurassic Coast in the beautiful county of Dorset.

LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Oilfield Chemical Technology Ltd is looking for a bright, enthusiastic laboratory assistant for its Aberdeen base. Responsibilities will include booking in and dispatching samples, preparing standard solutions, performing routine tests and carrying out laboratory maintenance / calibration. Candidates should be capable of accurate, timely work and preferably have maths and science qualifications. The role would probably suit someone looking to start their career in the oil industry.
